In the beginning it was difficult for me to do peer review for the first essay. I did not understand the point of peer review and in high school I did not do it too much. I did not know what to write during peer review in the beginning. I learned as we did it more what to do and how to do my peer reviews. I learned that I could not just say what is wrong but I should also give examples on how to fix it and explain so they will understand what they could fix. After doing peer reviews in class, it helped show me what to do. On my last peer reviews, I explained and asked questions which they told me that I helped them realize what they needed to do for the reader to understand. I started my peer reviews with you could so it did not seem like I was telling them that they were wrong or what they did was bad. I made sure it looked like constructive criticism instead of judgement.
